Biography

Lillian received her B.S. in interdisciplinary physics with a concentration in chemistry from the University of Richmond in 2019 and is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in materials at the University of California, Santa Barbara. Her research focuses on CVD diamond growth and engineering nitrogen-vacancy centers under the direction of Ania Jayich and Kunal Mukherjee. Lillian has received a Goldwater scholarship, fellowships from NDSEG and the NSF GRFP, and is a graduate fellow of the UCSB-NSF Quantum Foundry.
