Dan Gostovic

Biography

Dr. Dan Gostovic, based out of Houston, TX, has enjoyed a progression of technical to commercial roles with Thermo Fisher Scientific over the last 9 years, leading to his current role as Senior Account Manager for electron, x-ray, and photoluminescence imaging solutions. He served as an R&D Development Engineer in Hewlett Packard’s Corvallis, OR MEMS fab. Dan was a UC San Diego postdoctoral fellow with Prof. Shirley Meng developing in-situ biasing and characterization techniques for lithium ion batteries after his PhD from University of Florida with Prof. Kevin Jones and Prof. Eric Wachsman, where he optimized porous cathode microstructures using a multi-length scale FIB-SEM/TEM/EIS approach.
